  • Day 1 · Teardown and tools

    Opening iPhone and Samsung, handling flex cables, heating and lifting. You set up your own bench.

  • Day 2 · Screens

    Full screen assembly replacement, LCD and OLED. The job that pays back fastest.

  • Day 3 · Batteries and connectors

    Battery, charging port, speaker and camera swaps. Reassembly and seal replacement.

  • Day 4 · Diagnosis

    Fault-finding method, power testing, telling a fixable phone from a dead board. Knowing when to turn a customer down.

  • Day 5 · Pricing and customers

    Rate card, parts sourcing, real margin per job. You leave with your own prices.

Going further

The bootcamp teaches you to replace. The programme teaches you to repair what cannot be replaced: the board. That is what separates a workshop from a parts counter, and it is the only programme of its kind in Brussels.

Practical details

Requirements

  • No technical background. The first phone comes apart on Monday morning.
  • 18 or over: the work involves heat tools and solvents.
  • You understand the language of the session. It is taught by voice, at the bench.
  • Nothing to bring. Bench, tools and practice parts are provided.

Certificate of attendance

Issued in your name after the five days: dates, modules covered, trainer's signature. It is a Belmobile document, not a state-recognised diploma.

Common questions

Do I need a technical background?

No. Nothing is assumed, day one starts at teardown. Two conditions only: you must be 18, because the course uses heating tools and solvents, and you must follow the language of the session, which is taught out loud on the bench.

What do I bring?

Nothing. Bench, tools and practice parts are provided, one full station per person. You leave with your notes and your certificate, not with the equipment.

How does payment work?

490 € including VAT. A 147 € deposit on booking, the 343 € balance on the first morning, on site. The deposit counts towards the total rather than adding to it, and nothing else is invoiced.

Can I cancel?

Yes. You have fourteen calendar days to withdraw, with no reason and no penalty, counting from the day after the confirmation email. Refunds are made within fourteen days. After that window a scale applies: more than 30 days before the start, the deposit is refunded; between 30 and 14 days, you can move to the next session at no cost. The terms page has the detail.

What do I leave with?

A dated certificate of attendance in your name, handed over on the last day, listing the modules covered and signed by the trainer. It is a Belmobile document. It is not a state-recognised diploma, and it does not open any right to public funding.

How many of us are there?

Six at most, one bench each. The session runs at the Schaerbeek workshop, rue Gallait 4, from 12:00 to 17:00, five days in a row.

What if I want to learn microsoldering?

That is the board-level track, four weeks, open after the bootcamp. Two students per session, a microscope and a hot air station each. Ask for the price on WhatsApp.

What one screen repair really brings in

An iPhone screen costs €40 to €60 as a part. The customer pays €150. That gap is real, but it isn't your margin yet: there's still your time, the failed attempts, the warranty and the rent. We run that calculation together on Friday — you leave with your own prices.
